According to Bloomberg, Google's mobile operating system is preparing to make radical changes on Android.

The new version of Android, which is supposed to be called 'Pistachio Ice Cream', is said to be a dynamic display feature that supports the same extensions as the screen-edge. At this point, smartphone makers of Android will be able to adopt face recognition technology like Face ID of iPhone X more easily.

Facial recognition systems are expected to replace fingerprint readers into a new security standard on smartphones.

According to the newspaper, this change to the Android operating system is part of Google's plan to migrate more Android users to Android. The company wants Android to be more effective in the flagship segment that is dominated by Apple.
